From book signings to Dartmoor walks and the festive season, everything you need to know...

We are so excited to be hosting our first book talk and book signing at the Arundell in our Tamar Room. A fabulous opportunity to enjoy a conversation with the renowned author, Ann Cleeves, creator of hugely popular detectives Vera Stanhope, Jimmy Perez and Matthew Venn. The main event starts at 7pm on Friday 15 September and afterwards there will be a unique author mixer event in the hotel sitting room.

This July saw the launch of the 87 mile Tamara Way Coast to Coast, which passes straight through the village of Lifton and past our front door. This extraordinary seven

day journey starts in Plymouth, where the Tamar river meets the sea and travels upstream through the majestic Tamar Valley, past the iconic Royal Albert Bridge linking Devon and Cornwall and onto the South West Coast Path, which follows the North Cornwall coast.

It may still be so far off it is hard to imagine but it is already time to start thinking about plans for the Festive Season. Book your festive get together with family or friends in our beautiful restaurant, stay with us for the Christmas festivities or book in for one of our Festive Workshops!

We have worked together to collect a cellar which encompasses a broad range of styles and prices. Our sommelier Luke Harris is happy to offer advice on wine pairing to compliment our menu.
