What We Offer
The Arundell is in the village of LIfton, in the heart of the rolling countryside of West Devon and equidistant from Plymouth, Exeter and Truro. Just over a mile from the A30 we offer a convenient, accessible and beautiful location.
Our hotel offers 21 bedrooms plus a 2 self-catering cottages – one with 2 bedrooms and one with 3 bedrooms. The hotel is a lovely size for exclusive use.
Renowned throughout Devon and Cornwall for its fantastic food. Our Head Chef, Ashley Wright is delighted to design bespoke menus.
Private Dining – our restaurant can seat up to 90 guests and we also have smaller dining rooms available for groups from 6 people upwards. There is no extra charge for exclusive use.
Weddings – we are the perfect venue for more intimate weddings. We can cater for up to 90 guests seated or up to 200 guests buffet style. The hotel is available for private hire, which includes the use of the bar, the restaurant and the lounge.
Conferences and Meetings
- Our fantastic Tamar Room is able to host lecture style conferences for up to 100 people.

Weddings and Parties
The Arundell is a fabulous venue for your wedding. We offer exclusive hire of the whole hotel or just the restaurant and are perfect for more intimate events.
Our talented head chef Ashley Wright will work with you to create your own bespoke menu and our Events Planner, Jackie will be with you to help at every stage.
Our beautiful private lake offers a stunning background for your wedding pictures.
We offer private dining for parties of between 6 and 80 people.
