    (From age 12 upwards)

New for 2022 The Arundell is launching a two-day residential fly- tying course. This aspect of our sport is an enjoyable and rewarding area that many are daunted to begin. Let our in-house instructors show you how to begin this historied artform. The course will show all of the main techniques and practices required to tie your own flies and begin this fascinating journey. While experienced fishermen will gain a thrill from tying their own patterns and experimenting to invent that new killer fly, the skill is just as interesting to learn for the hobbyist non fisherman – indeed there are many who enjoy the art of tying flies with no intention of ever inconveniencing a fish. All materials and equipment necessary for your stay will be included.

    (From age 12 upwards)

The cooking course will focus on cleaning and preparing a trout, and styles of cooking from baking to pan-frying to grilling the fish, using recipes from the Arundell chefs.
