Upcoming Events at The Arundell

The Arundell Journal

Spring Update

Since acquiring the Arundell Arms Hotel in July 2020 we have been on a mission to refurbish this iconic hotel and expand its offering for those who enjoy the countryside and countryside pursuits.  As lovers of fly fishing, shooting, good food and the countryside our aim is to ensure that The Arundell has these interests at its heart.

Whilst we have undertaken a full refurbishment to the hotel and strengthened our core offerings, we do hope that you find the hotel as welcoming, comfortable and relaxing as it ever was.  We value the institutional nature of The Arundell and simplicity and honesty will always be at the forefront of its offering.

We want everyone who visits The Arundell to feel it is a home away from home, a place shared with friends and family, and the broader Arundell Family. Those of you who know the hotel well, and have visited us to fish, shoot, or simply enjoy a few days away, will know that many of our staff have been with the hotel for as long as 50 years (David Pilkington!). It is what makes The Arundell a family, and we have felt this from the day we arrived.

We love it that many of our guests have been coming for two and in some case three generations and are keen to encourage families to make this institution part of their own tradition.

We are looking forward to being open again and welcoming you back as restrictions ease in the UK in May. We have many fishing breaks and courses available, or just join us for a luxurious stay to explore this beautiful part of the world, in the Devon countryside.
